
Jo Reid
Managing Director
Jo brings her consultancy expertise and vast mobile design experience to the heart of the executive team. Holding an MBA and BSc in Computer Science, Jo was formerly a senior researcher at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories. As well as captaining the Calvium ship, Jo offers our clients expertise in mobile experience design, particularly in regards to location and context aware applications.

Ben Clayton
Technical Director
Ben Clayton is Calvium’s founding Technical Director. He specialises in system architecture, tools and mobile technologies. Ben has deep expertise in developing software platforms as well as native mobile apps, being highly skilled in both iOS and Android development. Ben is able to make apps communicate effectively with almost anything, from apps that control showers and set lighting controls to the more familiar API interfaces and back-end systems.

Chris Gordon
Head of New Business
Chris is a Sales and Marketing professional that has worked on household brands across the Drinks Industry and FMCG. He formerly headed up Global Strategy across Washing and Bathing products for Sara Lee. He has spent many years advising clients across multiple sectors as part of his own management consultancy including helping to launch a SaaS start-up.

Jo Morrison
Director of Digital Innovation & Research
Jo works at the intersection of design, research and business. Focussing on digital innovation, she creates and delivers successful strategies and projects to maximise impact, accelerate growth and create rich customer experiences across a range of sectors - including property, the creative and cultural industries and education.
Discovering the opportunities and value that bespoke digital placemaking affords clients involved in large scale urban developments is a core area of Jo’s work - with the aim of creating more pleasurable, sustainable and citizen-centred future cities.

Marisa Harlington
Marketing Coordinator
Joining Calvium in 2021, Marisa applies her extensive experience of producing communications materials for SME and third sector organisations to support Calvium’s external communications. She builds the company’s visibility and brand; ensuring the business values are shared clearly through regular multi-channel communications. Between work and family commitments, she volunteers as comms lead for a CIC, and marshalls at local Park Runs.

Róisín Alvy
Head of Projects
Róisín Alvy, also known as Ro, is a certified Scrum Master and digital project manager with experience in delivering innovative projects for clients in both digital agency and SaaS environments. Since joining Calvium in August 2018, Róisín has delivered multiple complex app releases for a variety of our clients achieved through her focus to bring clarity to complex requirements. Ro also holds a First Class BA Honours degree in Publishing Media and APM Project Fundamentals qualification.

Saliha Ahmed
Senior UI Designer
Saliha Ahmed is a designer with a background in digital, print and packaging and is fascinated by interface design and technology, exploring how the digital can intersect with the physical world. Saliha obtained a First Class Honours in Graphic Communication from the University Of South Wales.

Summer Bridgman
Office Manager
Summer brought her HR and office manager experience to Calvium in 2021. She is responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the office and enjoys leading the team building, wellbeing and social activities of the company. Summer is spearheading Calvium’s sustainability changes thereby reducing our environmental impact. Away from the desk, she enjoys baking, sponsored walks and raising money for NSPCC.

Veronique Dalais
Finance officer
Ve joined the team in 2021 from an accountancy agency background. She really enjoys the new variety of internal business finance and seeing the company wide application of her AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) training. She gets great satisfaction from crunching numbers - from historic business analysis to daily invoicing and payroll, to forward planning and feeding into the business strategy. Outside of work, Ve enjoys knitting, F1 and using her Bristol City FC season ticket.

Pablo Carrillo
Technical Delivery Manager
Pablo Carrillo is our Technical Delivery Manager and in house iOS Specialist and has developed apps for clients such as Yodel and Fatbrain. Working in mobile development for over seven years, Pablo is also skilled in areas of projects, processes and planning. He holds a 5 year degree in Telecommunication Engineering, focused on telematics, from the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain. He has a special interest in mobile communications, networking and devices.

Richard Barrell
Developer
Richard has been a professional software developer since 2008, working on everything from databases and backend systems to web and mobile front-end UI. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Bristol. A self-proclaimed lover of debugging, Richard’s scrupulous work has helped realise prestigious projects such as Yodel's first delivery tracking app and the Candide app.

Nuno Veloso
Developer
Nuno joins Calvium from Portugal where he obtained a degree in Computer Science and began developing video games in Unity 3D for a leading studio. He now specialises in native and cross-platform development, with particular emphasis on React Native. A wealth of Calvium’s clients, including Rolls-Royce, have benefitted from Nuno’s fastidious and enthusiastic approach to programming.

Julius Bangert
Developer
Julius has a broad background in design and development. He enjoys taking an interdisciplinary approach to creating engaging and compelling interactive experiences utilising new technologies and best practices. He takes particular joy in problem solving and coming up with innovative ideas.

Vitor Alves Quintãos
Developer
Vitor is a developer with a history in native Android engineering. After getting his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, he published his own Android apps and was part of a design and development start-up in Portugal, before joining us here at Calvium. Vitor now works primarily with React Native to engineer both front- and back-end.

Adrián Moreno
Developer
From his teenage coding years, through a computer engineering degree and perpetual self-learning, Adrián brings to Calvium a broad range of programming and web app experience. Having built his own successful translation product used by patent businesses and universities, he matches technical skills with enterprise knowledge, and builds tools with a view to practical real-world applications. In his spare time, if not learning new dev skills and discovering latest software company trends on TikTok, he enjoys taking photos and rollerblading.

Fernando Sánchez
Developer
Fernando studied Computer Science at the University of Seville, before starting his career as a full-stack developer.. He’s spent time living and working in California, Singapore, Finland and remotely from several countries.
Since 2015, he’s specialised in iOS and Android engineering and now lives in Seville, Spain.

Arthur Graham
Developer
With a Bachelors degree in Architecture and a diploma in building surveying, Arthur's background is within the built environment. He has a lifelong passion for technology which has prompted a career change and internship with Calvium, which has led to him joining our team full-time as a Developer specialising in web technologies.

Richard Hull
Executive Chairman
Richard holds a DPhil in Computer Science from Sussex University and has authored many publications and patents. One of Calvium’s founders and a previous Managing Director, Richard now brings his extensive experience of technology innovation and business development to Calvium’s board.

Tom Melamed
Non-executive Director
Tom is a founder of Calvium, he has also served as Calvium's Mobile Strategy and Accounts Directors. He now brings his considerable technical, client facing and Data Science expertise to the board of Calvium.

Phil Stenton
Non-Executive Director
Phil was a founder of Calvium and its first Managing Director. He also co-founded the Pervasive Media Studio with Watershed. With years of experience leading research he now works for BBCR&D.
